Ways to Volunteer
There are several ways you can be part of “The Montoursville Way.”
Check out our volunteer opportunities below:
Firefighters
Ready for action? As a volunteer firefighter, you will protect property and help save lives during an emergency or natural disaster. You will be trained to Montoursville’s heightened standard at no cost to you. No experience is needed to join and the gear you need will be provided without charge.
EMTs
As an EMT you’ll administer pre-hospital medical care and transport the sick and injured to the hospitals. Rescue calls such motor vehicle accidents and other medical emergencies are skillfully addressed by our EMTs.
Fire Police
As a fire police volunteer, you will ensure the safety of the public and firefighters during emergency situations, direct traffic and control crowds.
Administrative Volunteers
Put your skills and interests to work in a meaningful way! These volunteers support our first responders and our greater mission by organizing fundraising events and programs, providing office support and maintenance duties, and much more.
