About Us
Montoursville Fire Department responds to approximately 2,000 fire and EMS calls per year. Our training is stellar and rigorous, ensuring we are well prepared to serve our 30 square mile coverage area. In addition to serving Montoursville, the department responds to mutual aid calls throughout Lycoming County.
Join Us
Within Montoursville, structures ranging from new developments, mixed use commercial properties and early 1900’s homes provide a diverse range of fire suppression and lifesaving calls. Vehicular accidents on Interstate 180 and local roads are addressed by our skilled firefighters and our EMTs.
When not training and saving lives, we are active participants in community events and can be seen at Fall Festival, National Night Out and at school Fire Prevention Week programs.
Each volunteer possesses a unique gift that, when fused into the collective & combined with others, it adds significance to the whole. Our only missing piece is you.
